B3 Torture (iOS): One Multiple B3 Target. Three Standards.
The B3 Torture drill family is built to work only with one specific target:
the LaserHIT B3 x15 target at a 1:10 scale.
This is not a limitation. It is the foundation.
The fixed geometry, spacing, and scaling of the B3 x15 target are what allow LaserHIT to maintain accurate distance simulation, reliable zone scoring, and meaningful comparisons from session to session.
Most shooters do not need more drills. They need better standards.
The B3 Torture drill family was created to answer a simple but uncomfortable question:
How well can you actually shoot when every shot matters?
Inspired by traditional dot torture concepts, B3 Torture takes the idea further by applying real distance scaling, consistent geometry, and objective evaluation through the LaserHIT system. Fifteen targets. Fifteen shots. No fillers. No wasted reps. Each drill removes a different layer of comfort and replaces it with accountability.
This is not about novelty.
It is about honesty.
B3 Torture: Can You Execute Without Margin?
The base B3 Torture drill is the foundation.
You engage fifteen individual targets at a simulated distance of ten yards. One shot per target. Every shot is judged as hit or miss. No partial credit. No make-up shots.
This drill is deliberately simple. That is what makes it difficult.
By removing time pressure and scoring nuance, it isolates execution. Grip. Sight discipline. Trigger control. Mental reset between shots. Many shooters discover that their first miss does not come from poor mechanics, but from rushing the reset or breaking focus after a successful hit.
B3 Torture is not about speed.
It is about consistency under repetition.
If you cannot hit all fifteen targets cleanly when nothing is rushing you, adding complexity will not fix that.
B3 Torture Zones: Where Do Your Hits Actually Go?
Once you can hit, the next question is how well.
B3 Torture Zones introduces zone-based scoring across the same fifteen-target layout. A hit is no longer just a hit. A-head, A-torso, B, C, and D zones are all counted. Time is limited, but not tight. Three minutes is enough to work deliberately, but not enough to drift.
This drill exposes a different truth:
many shooters “hit” targets without controlling where they hit them.
Zone scoring removes that illusion. It reveals whether your sights are settling where you intend, whether your trigger press is consistent from target one through target fifteen, and whether your visual discipline degrades as the drill progresses.
B3 Torture Zones is a consistency drill, not a speed drill.
It trains patience, repeatability, and precision without pressure to rush.
B3 Torture Pro: When Speed Is No Longer Optional
B3 Torture Pro is the culmination of the system and is available with LaserHIT Pro access, either through a 24-hour pass or a 30-day subscription.
The layout is the same.
The targets are the same.
The scoring zones are the same.
What changes is the clock.
In this drill, performance is measured by Hit Factor: total score divided by total time. Accuracy still matters. Zones still matter. But now efficiency matters too.
The target is static.
The shooter is not.
As time pressure increases, stance stability, grip efficiency, trigger preparation, and visual processing are stressed simultaneously. Small inefficiencies compound quickly. Hesitation costs time. Sloppiness costs points. Only disciplined execution produces a competitive Hit Factor.
This drill is especially effective for shooters running double-action handguns or laser training devices with trigger reset mechanisms, where efficient trigger cycling and control determine performance. It is not about shooting faster. It is about wasting less.
B3 Torture Pro is not for beginners.
It is for shooters who already know how to hit and want proof of how efficiently they can do it.
One System. Three Truths.
The B3 Torture drills are designed as a progression, not isolated challenges:
• B3 Torture asks: Can you execute without mistakes?
• B3 Torture Zones asks: Can you place hits where they matter?
• B3 Torture Pro asks: Can you do both when time is working against you?
Together, they form a complete diagnostic system for handgun fundamentals under increasing pressure.
