DISCLAIMER
Custom targets are not supported. This drill requires LASERHIT B3-type targets.
OBJECTIVE
Fire at a single B3 target. Fire three shots in order: two to A-torso, then one to A-head. Time limit: 3 minutes. Range: 7 yards (see Notes [1]).
GOAL
Hit in the correct order: two to A-torso, one to A-head. Two to control. One to stop.
WHAT YOU NEED
LASERHIT B3 target (scaled) and a LASERHIT Training Kit.
Alternatively, print a free B3 target, use your own laser cartridge or laser training device, and mount a smartphone on a tripod.
NOTES
[1] Range refers to the real-world distance defined for the drill. Firing Range is the actual indoor distance and is calculated automatically based on target scale before training begins.
[2] The LASERHIT B3 target at a 1:4 scale is recommended; other supported LASERHIT B3 variants may also be used.
DRILL DETAILS
The Mozambique drill, also known as Failure to Stop, trains a realistic response when center-mass hits do not immediately neutralize a threat. It develops controlled shot placement, efficient target transitions, and disciplined sight refinement under pressure. In laser dry-fire, it exposes weaknesses in grip recovery, visual focus, and execution that simple accuracy drills cannot reveal.
