DRILL DETAILS
This drill is built around real-world defensive shooting data. Research shows that most defensive encounters occur within 3 to 5 yards and typically involve three shots or fewer. A 6-inch group represents a realistic vital-zone accuracy standard. To successfully complete the drill, all three shots must fall within a single 6-inch group
LASERHIT displays group size measured in real-world units (inches), referenced to a 1:1 scale target

LASER ZEROING (Recommended)
For best accuracy, perform Laser Zeroing for each drill. At the end of the first stage, tap the crosshair icon in the top panel. Align the crosshair with your point of aim and follow the on-screen prompts to register three zeroing shots. Once confirmed, LASERHIT applies this adjustment to all hits in the drill. Re-zero whenever you change firearms, remove the laser cartridge, or adjust your setup.
DRILL DETAILS
This drill is inspired by benchrest-style accuracy work, where the goal is repeatable point of impact and clear diagnosis of error. During Express Setup (Step 2), the shooter must manually position the crosshairs precisely at the intended aim point on the target to establish a correct reference. Instead of measuring group size, each shot is evaluated against that exact aim point. After every shot, LASERHIT displays windage (left/right) and elevation (up/down). Once all three shots are completed, LASERHIT calculates the Accuracy in inches from the crosshair center. This makes imperfections measurable, helps identify consistent bias (zero or aiming error), and reinforces disciplined trigger control and sight alignment for practical accuracy.
LASERHIT displays windage and elevation for each shot and evaluates performance against the 3-inch Accuracy goal.
Accuracy - Deviation (maximum offset) from the crosshair center
0.92 - Most recent Accuracy (inches)
100% - Progress toward the goal based on the latest result

DRILL DETAILS
This drill is designed to refine core shooting fundamentals through extreme grouping discipline. The emphasis is on trigger control, consistent sight alignment, and maintaining shot-to-shot repeatability across a 10-shot string. A sub-1-inch group at a Range of 7 yards exposes even minor inconsistencies in technique, especially in laser dry-fire where recoil cannot mask errors. Tight grouping validates the shooter’s ability to deliver mechanically consistent shots and establishes the precision foundation required for advanced performance.

DRILL DETAILS
The Mozambique drill, also known as Failure to Stop, trains a realistic response when center-mass hits do not immediately neutralize a threat. It develops controlled shot placement, efficient target transitions, and disciplined sight refinement under pressure. In laser dry-fire, it exposes weaknesses in grip recovery, visual focus, and execution that simple accuracy drills cannot reveal.
This section shows how closely your results align with the drill goal.

DRILL DETAILS
B3 Torture Zones is a consistency drill, not a speed drill.
Zone scoring forces honesty. A hit anywhere on paper is not treated as good enough. The scoring zones reveal whether your sights are truly settling where you intend, and whether your trigger press remains consistent from target 1 through target 15.
This drill trains three performance habits:
1. Visual discipline: confirming the exact aiming point on every target.
2. Trigger consistency: pressing cleanly without changing the point of impact.
3. Reset control: recovering after each shot and repeating the same execution.
Time is limited to prevent endless over-aiming, but it is long enough to demand patience. 5 minutes is a control window, not a rush.
LASERHIT displays the zone hit for each shot and calculates the total points for the stage based on the scoring table.

DRILL DETAILS
This drill exists for shooters who already know how to hit targets and want to measure how well they perform when speed is no longer optional.
The drill enforces strict zone accountability under time pressure. Higher Hit Factors demand consistent A-Zone placement, but every hit is evaluated and scored.
Each hit immediately appears in the Results table, showing the hit zone, score value, elapsed time, and split time for that shot.
You must manage trigger control, recoil management, and visual processing without slowing down excessively. This makes the drill especially effective for double-action handguns and laser training devices that incorporate trigger reset mechanisms.
Unlike static accuracy drills, the challenge here is not the target. The target does not move. You do. Foot position, balance, grip pressure, and posture shifts all influence performance. The drill exposes inefficiencies in stance transitions, grip reset, and trigger preparation.
LASERHIT calculates total valid hits, total elapsed time, and the resulting Hit Factor for each stage.

DRILL DETAILS
This drill trains ultimate precision using the ISSF 25 m pistol scoring model. In ISSF competition, precision stages focus entirely on shot placement within concentric scoring rings, where total score reflects consistency and control. Shooters are required to place each shot as close to center as possible, reinforcing sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through. Achieving a high total score builds the same precision foundation relied upon by competitive pistol shooters and elite marksmen for controlled, repeatable accuracy.
LASERHIT displays the score and direction of each shot, then calculates the total score per stage.

DRILL DETAILS
This drill trains balanced speed and accuracy inspired by USPSA and IPSC scoring models. Practical shooting uses Hit Factor scoring, which reflects points earned per second and rewards shooters who combine fast execution with accurate hits. Hit Factor is calculated by dividing the total stage score by the accumulated time of all shots, reinforcing control of both accuracy and pace.
To put this into practical terms, a Hit Factor of 5 represents consistently delivering accurate hits while managing shot execution time across the entire string. Success requires maintaining both speed and accuracy shot after shot, rather than relying on isolated fast or accurate attempts.
Competitive Mode via Apple Game Center allows comparison of performance worldwide or with friends. When Competitive Mode is enabled, results appear immediately on the Leaderboard, while detailed stage and overall performance are displayed separately on the Performance Dashboard using multiple graphs and charts. This data provides advanced insight into training performance and differs from the drill’s simplified statistics.
LASERHIT displays the score and time for each shot and calculates the Hit Factor per stage.

[3] To participate in Competition Mode and appear on the Leaderboard, tap the Worldwide or Friends icon in the right Leaderboard panel on the Firing Range Setup screen. Signing in to Apple Game Center is required.
Laser Zeroing (Recommended)
For best accuracy, perform Laser Zeroing for each drill. At the Cease Fire state, tap the crosshair icon in the top panel.
This drill is inspired by the IDPA time-plus scoring model, where final time is affected by both execution speed and hit placement. Each shot is scored individually, and additional time is added when shots land outside the highest scoring zone. Less accurate hits add more time to the final result, rewarding shooters who maintain precision under time pressure.
LASERHIT displays each shot’s score and time, then calculates the Final Time per stage.
Final Time - Total time plus time-down penalties
15.81 - Most recent final time (seconds)
100% - Progress toward the goal based on the latest result
Bars - Each bar represents one completed stage
Grey bar - Goal not met
Blue bar - Goal met
Goal - Keep Final Time under 20 seconds
Final Time - Most recent result and change from the previous stage
Red number - Indicates regression from the previous stage
Green number - Indicates improvement from the previous stage
Success - Indicates whether the goal was met in the most recent stage
Success Rate - Percentage of stages in which the goal has been met
Down Time - Time elapsed since the last stage was completed.

DRILL DETAILS
This drill is inspired by fast-draw competition formats used in WFDA and CFDA events, where performance is measured purely by speed from the draw to the first hit. The fastest clean shot defines success, emphasizing reaction time, draw efficiency, and consistent mechanics. Accuracy requirements are intentionally minimal, placing full focus on speed and execution.
