    Execute a series of dry-fire shots to an exact point of aim defined by the center of the crosshair using your own target or any LASERHIT target. Range, shot count, and time limits are user-defined (see Notes 2).

    GOAL

    Your target, your distance, your measurement standards. Focus on exact point-of-aim placement. Each shot is evaluated by its offset from the crosshair center.

    WHAT YOU NEED

    • Your own target and a LASERHIT Reload Mark, plus a LASERHIT Training Kit.

    • Alternatively, print free LASERHIT targets and use your own laser cartridge or laser training device with a smartphone mounted on a tripod (see Note 3).

    NOTES

    1. When using custom targets, use a solid, dark target surface for reliable detection. A LASERHIT Reload Mark is required and can be downloaded for free from laserhit.com/targets. Set the correct Target Scale during Firing Range Setup before starting the drill.

    2. Range refers to the real-world distance defined for the drill. Firing Range is the actual indoor distance and is calculated automatically based on target scale before training begins.

    3. Follow all dry-fire safety rules applicable to indoor training.

    RULES

    The default Custom Accuracy drill is always available, even without PRO Access, and always appears at the top of the list. It may be renamed or edited but cannot be deleted. All new Custom Accuracy drills are created from this default drill.

    All Custom Accuracy drills can be fully adjusted before starting the first stage. Once a stage is completed, the drill configuration is locked to preserve the integrity of your progress. After that point, only the goal value may be changed. To modify any other settings, the drill must be reset, which permanently deletes all previously recorded statistics.

    Creating additional Custom Accuracy drills requires PRO Access. New drills may be edited or deleted. All Custom Accuracy drills focus on precise shot placement relative to the crosshair reference.

    DRILL DETAILS

    Shooting mastery develops in three distinct steps, taken in a specific order: Precision, Accuracy, and Timing. Precision defines how tight and consistent a shot group is. Accuracy defines how precisely each shot lands at the intended point of aim. Timing defines how efficiently precision and accuracy can be executed under speed or pressure.

    This drill is dedicated entirely to the second step: accuracy. It evaluates how closely each shot lands relative to the intended point of aim, independent of group shape or speed.

    The Custom Accuracy drill exists to measure and develop exact point-of-aim control without imposing a fixed standard. You define the target, distance, scale, measurement units, and acceptable offset. LASERHIT calculates deviation, consistency, and progress based on the crosshair reference.

 

DRILL PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW

All completed stages are saved as a continuous progress report. When PRO Access expires, recorded statistics remain stored on your device and are available for viewing. Full tracking features are restored when PRO Access is renewed.

LASERHIT displays windage and elevation for each shot and calculates Max Offset in the real-world units you selected, referenced to a 1:1 scale target.

    • Group - Target group size for the drill

    • 2.57 in - Most recent group size

    • 100% - Progress toward the goal based on the latest result

    • Bars - Each bar represents one completed stage

    • Grey bar - Goal not met

    • Blue bar - Goal met

    • Goal - Custom

    • Group - Most recent result and change from the previous stage

    • Red number - Indicates regression from the previous stage

    • Green number - Indicates improvement from the previous stage

    • Success - Indicates whether the goal was met in the most recent stage

    • Success Rate - Percentage of stages in which the goal was met

    • Down Time - Time elapsed since the last stage was completed.
