Dry Fire Program

I’ve had a lot of people ask me, “What’s the secret to creating a dry fire program?”  The secret to creating a dry fire program is there are dozens of dry fire programs out there that have already been put together by professional instructors and shooters.  You just have to pick one.  Mike Seeklander seems to have a dozen of them.  “Refinement and Repetition” may be a little older but it’s still a great program.  Ben Stoeger has some great ideas for you, but you have to use them.

The bigger question should be, “How do I get the most out of a dry fire program?”  The answer is simple: LaserHit.  No matter your reason behind needing to dry fire: concealed carry, law enforcement, competitive shooter, weekend plinker or someone new to shooting, LaserHit will give you immediate feedback in the comfort of your own home.

LaserHit is more than just a laser cartridge in your gun.  Using the provided laser cartridge in your own gun, fire the laser at a pre-printed target.  The LaserHit app on your phone allows your phone to see and record your hits on the target.  Need a timer?  The app has it!  One of the hardest things about dry fire is knowing if you’re “hitting” what you’re aiming for and LaserHit has taken all the guess work out!

For concealed carry holders, you may not always have the ability to get to the range as often as you would like and LaserHit gives you the opportunity to work on your accuracy and gun handling in the privacy of your own home at your convenience.  Many ranges will not allow shooters to draw and fire, but with LaserHit in your home, your repetitions can (and should) include drawing from concealment.  Think of how many repetitions you can get with immediate feedback on your accuracy with LaserHit!

Police officers have an obligation to themselves, their families, their co-workers and society to be proficient with their sidearms.  With many officers forced to work overtime and second jobs to make ends meet, they don’t have as much time to get to the range except for mandatory qualifications.  Qualifications aren’t training!  Marksmanship with a handgun is a perishable skill, and the ability to fire 50 to 100 rounds on LaserHit before your shift starts is a great way to maintain or sharpen your skills.  With duty holsters becoming ever more complicated and difficult to draw from, LaserHit gives you a practical way to work on draw speed out of a Level III holster.

Competitive shooters are always looking for an edge and if you’re traveling to a major match, you probably don’t have time to get to a range for a practice session.  Fortunately, LaserHit has developed a travel version that comes in its own compact carrying case.  The targets are even self- supporting!  Sneak a little bit of practice in before a match right there in your hotel room or living room.

LaserHit gives you an edge.  No matter what handgun you’re shooting, or why you’re carrying it, LaserHit will take your dry fire program to a level never dreamed of before.  Get yours today!
